Solution Configuration and Equipment Selection
The core of this solution is to solve the height difference from the ground to the inside of the truck compartment and to ensure that bagged textile goods do not slip or shift during conveying. We selected a medium-sized ramp machine as the lifting platform. Its stable hydraulic lifting system can easily adjust the height to suit the compartment floor of different vehicle models. The top platform of the ramp machine is used to support and secure the Powered Roller Conveyor, forming a movable loading and unloading bridge.
The conveying section uses a 10 m-long rubber-covered Multi-Wedge Belt Powered Roller Conveyor. The reason for choosing rubber-covered rollers is that their surface is coated with a rubber layer, which provides sufficient friction to effectively prevent bagged textile goods from sliding or rotating during conveying. Loading Process and Efficiency Improvement
In actual operation, the entire loading process is simplified into three steps and can be completed efficiently by only three workers. One worker at the warehouse exit on the ground places the bagged textiles onto the started roller conveyor. The goods are smoothly lifted by the ramp machine to a height level with the truck bed, and then automatically conveyed into the depth of the compartment via the 10 m-long roller line.
Two workers are stationed inside the truck to handle stacking. Since the conveyor delivers the goods directly in front of them, they do not need to move back and forth to carry them; they only need to stack them neatly in place. According to feedback from the site, after using this solution, loading efficiency increased by about 60%, workers’ labor intensity was significantly reduced, and, thanks to less manual throwing and dragging, the cargo damage rate also dropped sharply.
